LEAN practice (don't give up on me yet) explores areas of waste where organizations typically are inefficent and not cost effective. They are areas of huge potential for improvement. Most Lean presentations talk about the "seven wastes". There is an 8th waste - the waste of potential in people.
This is the eighth opportunity... the skills, abilities and creativity of the people you already have in your team, department and organization. It is also your personal unused potential.
